(5) Advanced circuit testing when a standalone PCB (Printed Circuit Board), industrial or medical device is checked in with Micro Fix. These tests assist in identifying hidden faults that are not ordinarily visible (which may include thermal imaging to find hot spots and failing/overloaded circuits)
(6) Official estimate requiring written approval [and deposit/full payment] from the client before a repair is processed
Diagnostics is a paid-for service and starts at R600-00. Turnaround depends on replacement parts, updates, approvals, and queue

We are an independent service workshop/repair business that are not affiliated to the manufacturer of the electronics repaired here. That means we do not have access to the circuit diagrams or any other official documentation from the manufacturers. This in turn means our techs have to use previous experience and in-depth research to arrive at a solution. A viable repair solution is only possible if model-specific spares are available and the total cost does not exceed the value of the device. Success is achieved in many cases but not always, and for this reason we can never give any guarantee that the fault will be fixed. If you do not want to take a chance with a repair, our recommendation is that you buy a completely new or replacement unit.
We do not diagnose/repair home or car audio equipment; desktop PC's (and their peripherals); external AC adapters; garage or gate remotes; two way radio's; TV's; kitchen appliances; and a plethora of other electronics which fall outside of the specific consumer or industrial electronics that we do work on
