If you are bringing in a device to us (or shipping it in to our local POSTNET branch / via courier), then please note that an inspection fee is payable before a quote can be provided on a case by case basis. An admin form will be sent via e-mail for a client that is shipping a unit to us. T's and C's apply and can be found here

If a device has had a prior repair attempt (be it DIY or another repair shop) prior to booking it in with us - it would be in your (client) best interest to disclose this before we start our troubleshooting process. It is very disheartening when we get 'throw away' electronics on our bench because then all that can be done is for it to be sent to our e-waste recycler and for the client to rather purchase a new device
When diagnosing a unit for any complex issue, it will require a full strip down to go through a checklist of possible causes of it malfunctioning before we can know what the problem is and quote a client accordingly. No guess work here at Micro Fix!
We, in general, cannot give you an exact price when you call or e-mail to ask "The power button on my laptop isn't working. What would it cost to fix it?". A service provider can only determine the repair cost by bringing in or shipping in the device to our premises for a technician to have it on the bench and all the tests (or replacement parts to be sourced) to be completed before a quotation can be produced
Micro Fix is competent in replacing ports, connectors, console Blu-Ray lasers and many other issues are usually diagnosed here. We do our best to offer economical repair solutions (which on average, is a third of the cost of the equivalent new device at retail) whilst not compromising our standard of only using the highest quality replacement parts available for every device type we work on. You bring it! We fix it!
