Every device begins with a complimentary intake assessment to determine the most appropriate diagnostic path. Where a detailed assessment is required, the applicable fee and process will be explained and authorised before any further work begins. Assessment fees approved by you are fully credited towards the final repair cost when you proceed with the recommended repair.
Micro Fix operates by appointment to ensure every device receives the time, attention and engineering expertise it deserves. Whether you visit us in Pretoria or ship your equipment from elsewhere in South Africa, you can expect clear communication, transparent pricing and a structured diagnostic process from start to finish.

Equipment Drop-Off & Collection
All equipment drop-offs and collections are by appointment during office hours only.
Micro Fix accepts consumer, industrial and PCB assemblies from throughout South Africa and selected SADC countries. To ensure each customer receives our full attention, drop-offs are preferably scheduled between 09:00 and 12:30, Monday to Thursday, and between 09:00 and 12:00 on Fridays. We are also available on the first and last Saturday of each month, subject to our Terms and Conditions.
As our team regularly performs B2B collections and visits suppliers during office hours, advance booking is essential to guarantee that a representative is available to receive you.
Our focus is professional diagnostics, technical assessment and precision electronic repair. Please note that Micro Fix does not offer same-day parts-and-labour repairs; every device follows our structured engineering assessment process to ensure accurate fault identification and transparent quotations.
Diagnostic and assessment services are available from R500, with approved assessment fees credited in full or in part towards the final repair invoice, subject to our Terms and Conditions. Each device is thoroughly inspected, bench-tested and diagnosed at modular or component level as required.

what we do not accept for service
Micro Fix specialises in selected categories of consumer, industrial and board-level electronic repairs. While we do not service every type of electronic equipment, we welcome enquiries and encourage you to contact us to discuss your specific requirements and determine whether we can assist.
- Where replacement parts are required, typical delivery times are as follows:
- Locally stocked parts: approximately 2–5 working days.
- Special orders placed by local suppliers with overseas partners: approximately 8–12 weeks.
- Direct special orders from approved mainland China suppliers: approximately 2–8 weeks.
To ensure reliable, lasting repairs, we use only OEM, professionally refurbished or manufacturer-compatible quality components.
Please note that Micro Fix does not provide diagnostics or repairs for domestic appliances, vehicle mechanical systems, or public-address (PA) audio equipment.
We do not offer expedited or “rush” repair services. Once a quotation has been approved and any required parts have been received, the typical repair turnaround time is 5–7 working days.
